For a while now, business owners have been able to schedule posts on their Facebook pages directly from Facebook Pages. We’ve been using this for our clients and have suggested native post scheduling since it came out.

Per popular request, Facebook has just rolled out the ability to schedule same-day content on your personal Facebook profile. Using the same tool, you can also back-date posts.

Here’s how to access it:

When posting a status update, you’ll now notice a new icon that looks like a calendar. When you click the calendar, you’ll be presented with a drop down menu that will ask you what year, what month, what day and what time you want to schedule / back-date your post for.

We think Facebook will be opening up the ability to further future-date posts on Facebook profiles.
