Don’t you think it’s time for some good news?
I’ve been enjoying the spring weather and being able to work alongside many of our clients, consulting and making stuff happen to help them make the most of the current situation. Here are a few examples of what our team had pushed hard and delivered in the past week. Maybe they’ll give you some ideas for your business, or to share with businesses while we all weather this stormy time.
What do you do when the assisting living home is locked down and you still want to visit your loved ones?
You get creative right? Our client, The Hamlets have 7 locations and we’ve been able to share some tender and fun stories.
We’re just finishing a website form where loved ones can send written messages, or via their Facebook pages can upload videos and drawings from their grandkids.
A Dental emergency or ready to start braces? No problem!
At Pacific West Dental we’ve created a full emergency, interactive contact page as well as an all-new virtual consultation for Invisalign braces. Dr. Kevin is having a blast being the model and we have a series of home-filmed videos in production.
At Alison Bell Counselling, we’ve set up multiple secure Zoom accounts and have created a whole new protocol for online counseling!
A whole deli full of food but no customers?
At J.D. Farms they had to close their Bistro 🙁 So we have literally created a whole online shopping cart for over 150 products, with weight and prices all calculated. Now loyal customers can order online and get same-day curbside pick up!
Maid services that no one can afford right now? Turn those empty offices into clean and sanitized.
Nicole at Hubbards Cleaning is a true entrepreneur. We’ve moved their marketing campaigns towards offices and deep cleaning = huge success!
Run a waxing spa but need to keep a distance of 2 meters away from your client?
Well – at least we can help with products and an online shopping cart with curbside pickup or shipping calculated! We also did an online gift card 20% discount offer. Vital cash flow is happening.
Worried about giving birth in the Hospital?
With Jae & Rhione we’ve created an all-new private Facebook group, specifically for pregnant moms to discuss their options and explore having a home-birth. We had 40 moms join on the first day!
So, how are you doing? I know so many businesses have had to close and lay off their valued staff. It’s hard and heart-wrenching. But for those who have been able to stay operating – there is hope – yes! Is it possible? You know it!
We’re here for our clients and out of adversity our very best creativity comes out. Our team has worked double duty from home and we’re assisting our clients in the worst trading conditions since WWII.
We’ve also welcomed nearly 50 new businesses into our new Virtual Social Media Bootcamp who are learning with our very best resources in the comfort of their own homes – it’s not too late to join! From Argentine to South Africa, from the UK back to Canada we’re here for everyone who needs our help. Click here to sign up for the Virtual Social Media Bootcamp at a massive discount.
Social Media is the only game in town. We Make Stuff Happen was birthed in 2008 after a triad of disasters for me. Believe me, I know what it’s like to bootstrap and rise from the ashes.
Hope this Good News Letter has given you some inspiration and hope.
Together, we’ve got this my friends.
