We’re super pumped for our last Meetup of 2015! It’s on December 7th at the NY Grill and rather than a speaker we have arranged a FUNdraising event called #DoitforEllen.

Each year we do one FUNdraising event of our own. Last year we ran one of our Social Media workshops by donation and we raised $3400! This year we hope to beat that – but to do that we need your help!

If you’re looking for a way to generate company exposure AND support a hardworking young missionary in her courageous charity work overseas – We have the perfect fit!  This year’s Silent Auction is the perfect opportunity to showcase your services and products to members and their guests, increase your marketing network, meet new potential customers.

Why #DoitforEllen?

Ellen is a 19 years old missionary, serving with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) in Australia. She’s spent the last two years training and is now a Full time Staff Leader at YWAM Whitsunday. She is now teaching and leading a team of 12. Their training is a combination of study and outreach. Ellen’s travel and living expenses are 100% raised by support from folks like you and me. This fundraiser is to help her make that happen. Ellen has previously lead trips to the Island of Vanuatu just before it was hit by the devastating Cat 5 Hurricane and most recently was working at a Syrian refugee camp in Central Asia. How can you help?

Our hope is to fill two tables with items for silent auction, as well as fill the room with great people ready to support and buy. That’s where you come in! We need items for our auction. The best donations are quality products and services that anyone can enjoy. Previous items that have been wildly successful: engaging experiences, ski lift passes, spa packages, wine tours, dinner & theatre tickets, signed sports memorabilia, movie passes/snacks combo, artwork, car maintenance package, small electronics, cookware, housekeeping/home maintenance services, pet care & supplies, special event catering and bottles of wine and spirits. Whatever SWAG you have or whatever you can help with will make all the difference!

How to Donate

We will come to you and collect whatever you have for us. Gift certificates require: an expiration date, company contact info, description of product or service, retail value and unique identifying number. We will pick up donations on or after Nov 20th. Items to be picked up by will require a Hi-Res Jpeg Photo sent via email, to be displayed on Auction Table. Any Questions? Donation Benefits

It’s always so good to give – especially at Christmas. We invite all of our donors to join us at our celebration Meetup with a guest. Your company name will be showcased at the event and will be listed on We Make Stuff Happen Website and extensive Social Media. Please email your item for auction along with hi-res jpeg logo and hyperlink to your website to [email protected]
