So, with the best of intentions, stuff happens and the day flies past in a scurry.
Challenge #32 – how to tweet without tweeting!
Just returned from the official opening of the Western Canadian office of the Breakfast Clubs of Canada. Such a great event and what a fabulous group of devoted people. Add that to a very full day of client work and my Twitter feed could be looking very empty.
This is where a smart phone can totally come to the rescue. There’s a number of links you can make to keep your followers in the know and still paint a clear picture of what’s going on around you.
My two favourites are Instagram and Foursquare. By using either you can add a picture, location and comment (including a #Hashtag) and post to Twitter, Facebook, as well as a number of other platforms. This way you can have regular posts that engage, enlighten and quite often entertain!
You can link your Facebook posts to Twitter. Personally I don’t. I’m of the belief that they are two totally separate ways of writing. But that’s not to say it’s not a useful tool. Simple to do. From the help section – type how do I link Twitter and they link is right there and you’re linked!
Did you know you can even link your Google+ to Facebook and Twitter? Simply add the app Google++.
So, there’s always a way, even when you’re super tight for time to keep connecting and sharing each and every day not matter how busy you are. The key is not to fret and use the tools at your fingertips.
Here’s to a productive day!
