You may have noticed we changed the name of our facebook page.
Working with my coach Sandi Krakowski, we’ve been remodelling the way we do business for the future. Part of that whole re-examination is around personal branding. People I believe like to do business with people – not brands. They like to buy brands.
Back in 2004 when we started, we were known as the Jonathan Christian Consultancy. In 2008 as we expanded from just me to a tribe, we rebranded and We Make Stuff Happen was birthed. We still love the name, and our hashtag #makestuffhappen has become synonymous with what we do for our clients. We’ve been growing our reach across our social platforms with significant success. Our Facebook page is reaching over 20,000 people daily and we’re close to 10,000 likes! It’s time.
It’s time to share more of our new strategy. As a consultant I can only service so many clients at once. We love it and will never change our model of local first! However, there many other businesses out there that need our stuff and either because of distance or lack of budget we can’t get to them all. We so want to help as many people and businesses as we can.
It’s not easy to win in business these days. Paid marketing can be extremely expensive and if you’re not careful and take you down before you realize – remember those Groupon Spa nightmare stories?
We have plans to help hundreds of business all at once through a new series of webinars and info products this fall.
Many people are getting to know us/me through our daily posts and comments across social media. Our daily video series has been extremely well received – we have produced over 50 two minute helpful tips so far!
Sandi told me it’s time – time to be who I am truly gifted to be. So this weekend we applied to facebook to rename our page to my own name and make me a public figure – we had to jump through a few hoops but it all worked out great!
So, that’s it – the point of no return!! Go big or go home as they say! Stay tuned for more announcements very soon….
